Broadcasting Messages Through Messenger

A new tool is being tested that would allow businesses to broadcast a message to users through the app. The tool is still in the early stages, but is reported to allow a custom welcome message, video, images and suggested replies. It’s reported that businesses can reach users for free, however, the users must have had contact with the business in the past. It is unknown if these restrictions will stay intact as the tool progresses though. Think of how you could utilize this tool to further reach your audience.
Instagram’s Business Profiles Are Climbing

Recently, the social media giant Instagram reported that more than 25 million marketers have switched their accounts to business profiles, an increase from the previously reported 15 million. The Instagram business profile allows companies to have more of a business-style presence on the platform. Instagram plans to continue offering more tools in hopes of attracting more marketers who will utilize them as well as their advertising options, in turn continuing to grow the app.
