As our Sales Operations Lead, Maren Hudson supports the Consultwebs Business Development team with administrative duties and document preparation. She also works to continuously improve the efficiency and productivity of our business development operations by assessing our sales processes, metrics and goals.
“With my background and education in the sciences, I bring an analytical and contemporary perspective to business development,” says Maren, a Bristol, Tennessee native who earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Classical Civilization at Berea College and a Master’s of Science degree in Biology from East Tennessee State University.
“My previous experience in professional writing, data analysis and research allow me to work quickly and efficiently to complete contracts, reports and agreements,” she says. “Working in managerial and teaching positions over the past decade has also allowed me to develop communication and cooperation skills that are vital to improving work output and community within our company.”
Maren says that she appreciates how every member of our Consultwebs team brings attention to detail to their work.
“Our individuals are self-driven with a desire to always improve practices to create the best product for the customer,” she says.
In her spare time, Maren’s highest priority is spending time with her daughter and husband, including going on hikes and playing board games. She also enjoys visiting museums, attending theatrical productions and watching University of Kentucky basketball.
