Attorney Mark W. Gemma Named Rhode Island Rising Star 2008

Prestigious distinction is only awarded to 2.5 percent of the attorneys who are nominated.

Providence, RI, February 15, 2009 — Personal injury lawyer Mark W. Gemma, of Gemma Law Associates, has been named a “2008 Rising Star in Rhode Island” by Super Lawyers publication.

Gemma, who is a principal in the Providence law firm, is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar Associations and is licensed to practice in both states. He received a bachelor’s degree from Boston College in 1994 and his law degree from Roger Williams School of Law in 1997. He has served as president of the Roger Williams University School of Law Alumni Association.

A past president of the Rhode Island Association for Justice, Gemma is also active in the American Association of Justice, serving as the secretary to the Counsel of Presidents and as a state delegate.
