Consultwebs.com, Inc. goes CarbonFree
October 24, 2007, Raleigh, N.C. – Consultwebs.com, Inc. announced today that it will become a CarbonFree™ business for one year; partnering with Carbonfund.org to reduce and offset its carbon footprint.
Carbonfund.org will offset the carbon emissions generated by Consultwebs.com, Inc. through the support of projects including reforestation and clean energy development that reduce carbon emissions in other areas.
Consultwebs.com, Inc. made the decision to become CarbonFree™ after evaluating the emissions generated by business activity and realizing that many of the heaviest carbon culprits, such as business travel, simply couldn’t be eliminated or reduced further. Company staff and management felt that environmental performance was too important not to take action.
